State Route 18 is a 62-mile-long (100 km) route in northwest Alabama. It runs from the Mississippi state line (MS 12) west of Vernon, Alabama, east to SR-69 south of Oakman, passing through mainly rural areas of Lamar County, Fayette County, and Walker County. In addition to Vernon and Oakman, SR-18 passes through the towns of Fayette and Berry. The only junctions that SR-18 has with major routes are at Fayette, where it intersects U.S. Highway 43 and State Route 107.
