Alan Wayne 'Frank' Burns (born (1961-03-26) 26 March 1961 (age 63) in North Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s, playing at club level for North Sydney Bears, Wakefield Trinity (Heritage № 922), and Western Suburbs Magpies, as a stand-off/five-eighth, Second-row, or loose forward/lock, i.e. 6, 11 or 12, or 13.[1] His nickname 'Frank' comes from the M*A*S*H character Frank Burns.
