Alex J. Chmurski (April 19, 1899 – January 20, 1951) was an American machinist who served one term (1929-1930) as a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.[1] He unseated incumbent Socialist Elmer Baumann in the 1928 general election, but was himself unseated in the Republican primary election of 1930; his victorious opponent in turn lost the general election to Socialist George L. Tews. He died on 20 January 1951.[2]
