Alexander Malofeev also written Alexander Malofeyev born 1st October 2001 at Moscow is a precocious russian virtuoso soloist and concert pianist.

Life and career

Alexander Malofeev gained international recognition at the 8th International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians held in Moscow in 2014, through his outstanding performance. He won the 1st Prize and the Gold Medal.[1][2]

Two years later, in the same city, he was awarded Grand Prix at the 1st International Competition for Young Pianists «Grand Piano Competition».

Alexander Malofeev is also recipient of other numerous international competitions and festivals prizes.[1][2]

At the opening of the festival “International Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo” in April 2017 in Italy, Alexander Malofeev was awarded the “Premio Giovane Talento Musicale dell'anno 2017” – “Best Young Musician of 2017”[1].

Alexander is currently a student at the Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music with Elena Beryozkina.
