Alexandru Mateiu (born 10 December 1989 in Brașov[1]) is a Romanian footballer who plays for Universitatea Craiova as a midfielder.
International career
Mateiu made his debut for the national team in a friendly game against Albania, played at a neutral venue, in Switzerland, in May 2014.
