Popyrin has a career high ATP singles ranking of 1035 achieved on 19 June 2017. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of 1556 achieved on 19 September 2016.

Popyrin has a career high combined juniors ranking of 2 achieved on 12 June 2017. He reached the semifinals at the 2017 Australian Open in the junior doubles tournament.[1] He then followed that up by winning the 2017 French Open junior singles title.
