Anatoly Ivanovich Antonov (Russian: Анатолий Иванович Антонов) is a Russian deputy Minister of Defence and recipient of Order of Merit for the Fatherland (4th grade) and Order of Honour.

Biography

Antonov was born on 15 May 1955 in Omsk, USSR.[1] He graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 1983.[1]

For 30 years he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2004 he became the Director of the Department for Security and Disarmament at the same place. On 2 February 2011 he was promoted by a Presidential Decree to become Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation.[1]
