Anders Wiman (11 February 1865 – 13 August 1959) was a Swedish mathematician.

Life

Wiman attained his doctorate from Lund University in 1892, under supervision of Carl Fabian Björling. He later taught at Uppsala University, where Arne Beurling and Fritz Carlson were among his students.

Awards

He was elected a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in 1905.

Work

He introduced Wiman's sextic curve.
