Andrey Anatolyevich Shumilin (Russian: Андрей Анатольевич Шумилин; born March 9, 1970 in Kaliningrad, Russian SFSR). is a Russian former wrestler. He competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics and came fourth in the super-heavyweight freestyle event.[1]
Wrestling career
In the 1980 his father brought Andrej Shumilin to junior's sports school. At 16 years old he was already a master of sports of USSR. In the 1986 he won the USSR championship and juniors' World championship. The next year he has repeated his success – he was already double juniors' World champion. In the 1989 he was junior's European champion. From 1990 Andrey Shumilin was regular member of Russian national team.
