Animal Science is a television show that premiered on 30 August 2012. The series shows viewers how and why animals behave using a scientific approach, with 3D animations, graphics and analysis.[1] It is produced by Steve Rotfeld Productions (SRP).

Animal Science was nominated in 2014 for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Series.[2][3]

In 2014, it was renamed Xploration Animal Science for the Xploration Station programming block. 52 episodes have been planned for Season 1 of the Xploration version and will run starting in September.[4][5]
