Ansião (Portuguese pronunciation: [ɐ̃siˈɐ̃w]), is a municipality in Leiria District in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 13,128,[1] in an area of 176.09 km².[2]

The present Mayor is Fernando Ribeiro Marques, elected by the Social Democratic Party. The municipal holiday is the Ascension on May 25.
