Anvar Khāmahʼī (Persian: انور خامه‌ای, (born 20 March 1917), is an Iranian sociologist, economist, journalist, and politician, who has written many books in his specialty fields, including his analytical and critical book Revisionism from Marx to Mao Tse-Tung.[1] He was a university professor at the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium,[citation needed] and a UNESCO fellow[citation needed]. Khamei was an activist of the Tudeh Party of Iran in the 1940s, but he quit in January 1948,[2] and concentrated on his journalistic and academic activities.[3][4] He turned 100 in March 2017.[5]
