Aphnaeus coronae, the crowned highflier, is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Sudan, Uganda and Kenya.[2] The habitat consists of savanna and open woodland.

The larvae possibly feed on Brachystegia.

  • Aphnaeus coronae coronae (southern Sudan, northern Uganda)
  • Aphnaeus coronae littoralis Carcasson, 1964 (Kenya: coast to the area north of Mombasa)
