Ardatov (Russian: Арда́тов) is an urban locality (a work settlement) and the administrative center of Ardatovsky District of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia, located on the Lemet River (Oka's basin), 162 kilometers (101 mi) southwest of Nizhny Novgorod. Population: 9,566 (2010 Census);[1] 10,117 (2002 Census);[2] 10,027 (1989 Soviet census).[3]
