Argosy University, Seattle

Argosy University, Seattle is one of 19 campuses nationwide of the for-profit Argosy University, which was formed in 2001 through the merger of the American Schools of Professional Psychology, the Medical Institute of Minnesota, and the University of Sarasota. The Seattle campus was founded in 1995 as the Washington School of Professional Psychology. As of 2016, Argosy is not accepting new students in Seattle.[1]

Argosy University is accredited by the Senior College and University Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, one of the six regional accrediting agencies in the United States. It received approval from the Washington State Higher Education Coordinating Board in 1999 to grant degrees in the State of Washington.[2]

Argosy University, Seattle, consists of four divisions: the College of Psychology and Behavioral sciences, which offers an MA and an EdD in Counseling Psychology, an MA in Clinical psychology and in Forensic Psychology, and an MS in Human Services; the College of Education, which offers the M.A.Ed. and Ed.D. degrees in Teaching and Learning, and in Higher and Postsecondary Education; the College of Business, which offers the MBA, MSHRM., MSOL. and the DBA.; the College of Undergraduate Studies, which offers associates and bachelor’s degree programs in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Liberal Arts, and Psychology.[3]

The campus is located in an office building on the Seattle waterfront, on the edge of the Belltown neighborhood.
