[edit]This university was formed by a merger of schools? Is this really a coorporation that presents itself as a university almost stictly for marketing purposes. It's accredited by The Higher Learning Commission[1], which seems to be a private institution with an affiliate program that offers accreditation to it's affiliates.
- I created this article and have absolutely no affiliation with Argosy. (I'm a proud Husky!) --Lukobe 06:46, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Argosy University is a indeed a real university. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges of Schools(http://www.ncahigherlearningcommission.org/), one of the six regional accreditors in the United State. This is the a same accrediting commision that acreddits the University of Michigan and the University of Notre Dame. It is a for -profit university owned as noted above. I am absolutly associated with Argosy University and a proud Washington Husky as well.
