Ariel "Ari" Daniel Lassiter Acuña (born September 27, 1994) is a Costa Rican professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer.

Club career

On December 17, 2014, he announced he had signed with LA Galaxy II.[1] On March 5, 2016, the Galaxy announced Lassiter had signed a first-team contract.[2]

Personal life

Lassiter is son of former United States international footballer Roy Lassiter and was born in Costa Rica while his father played for L.D. Alajuelense.[3] Lassiter was raised in the United States and represented the nation twice at U23 level in 2015, later in the year he switched his allegiance to Costa Rica representing the nation in the 2015 Toulon Tournament.[4]
