Armenia TV (Template:Lang-hy (Armenia herustaënkerut'yun)) is an Armenian TV channel that was established shortly after the formalization of the independent Republic of Armenia. The station was set up in 1997 by two children of the famous Armenian television personality, intellectual, historian and author, Artem Sargsyan and has developed a reputation for broadcasting telenovelas.[citation needed] The channel is now the most watched Armenian television network in the world, presenting a diverse array of shows, series and movies.[1]
