Aru K Verma aka Aru Verma (born 19 November 1986[citation needed]) is an Indian film actor .
In acting Aru K Verma started his life from Delhi, while acting under the supervision of Arvind Gaur (Director Asmita Theatre Group, Delhi ). He did an acting Diploma from Whistling Woods international under the Guidance of Benjamin Gilani and Kenneth Desai with Naseeruddin Shah Heading the department and he developed his craft under the guidance of Rob Reece (Members of the Actors Studio, LA) and then was called on to be an acting coach by Whistling Woods International in 2012, since then his passion drives him to coach acting as well as act. His career spans up to a series of commercials and films and also is thriving in the field of Television as well. His character 'Duke in the film Two states was loved by many as well as his portrayal of Bappa as lead in the Channel V mini series "It's Complicated: Relationship Ka Naya Status" was appreciated all over. Presently his role as Rajkumar in Begusarai telecasted on &Tv Channel has enthralled the hearts of many.
Early life
Born in Lucknow, Aru K Verma as a kid moved all over north India with his family including cities like Lucknow, Ambala, Karnal, Dehradun where he was completing parts of his education and finished his schooling from Mount St. Marys, Delhi. It was here where he developed the knack for performing arts as well, After completing his B.Tech. (2004–08) (Mech. Engg. & Computer Automation) from Delhi University, where he headed major cultural events and danced his was into many college fest awards, He pursued a diploma in acting from Whistling Woods International Limited, Mumbai, where he found his true calling as his artistic inclination since childhood has led him to his mainstream profession and passion. He has done more than four years of theatre in Delhi and has a great debating and stage experience in performing arts.
Personal life
Aru is the elder of the two siblings born to Jyoti and Ashwani Verma, shares his life with his family spending as much time he can with them, he shares a special bond with his sister Prium. He has a nack for cooking, reading, outdoor activities and as he says music is something he cannot live without.
Career
During his diploma in 2008-2010, Aru enacted in many documentary films like Renzdevous, Five Thieves, Jagjeet, etc. Jagjeet was one of the most appreciated film in which Aru enacted the role of Jagjeet in Jagjeet, a short film about a man, Sikh by religion, filled with guilt that he could not save his childhood friend during the 1984 Sikh massacre in Delhi, India. Now haunted by this feeling, he finds it difficult to live his life. This film has been nominated and has also won awards. He has also acted in online webseries for Jaihind and his five episode Fatty series was very popular online.
His first debut show
It's Complicated: Relationship Ka Naya Status Aru has rocked into the Channel V show "Relationship Status: It's Complicated". He was seen playing the role as Bappa, a guy who is completely a mama's boy and also a little girly, over emotional and really desperate for affection from the opposite sex, he has never had a girlfriend but has always been in the best friend zone of women. Bappa in personal life is completely opposite.
Film career
Aru Started his filmy career in 2009 boy in a movie Jo Dooba so Paar Love in Bihar in which he played the role of a school boy followed by Subhash Ghai's Love Express, Myoho etc. A Glimpse of Aru doing a cameo in Once Upon a Time in Mumbai dobaara was good for him. The Role of ‘Duke’ in Two States’ gave Aru good exposure.
After this he has also worked in Bezubaan Ishq. Wedding Pullav and Teen Tigdam directed by Ismail Darbar are his upcoming projects.
