- Cârţa/Karcfalva
- Ineu/Csíkjenőfalva
- Tomeşti/Csíkszenttamás is now an independent commune.
Demographics
It has a population of 5,486, of which 5,464 (99.6%) are Székely Hungarians forming an absolute majority.
