Ashok Todi(born 1958) is an Indian industrialist, heading the R10-billion Lux Industries group. He is the chairman of Kolkata based inner wear company Lux Industries Ltd.[1][2] Ashok Todi is also a known face in the Indian consciousness because of his alleged involvement in the Rizwanur Rahman murder case. Rehman married Todi's daughter, Priyanka Todi, and is said to have been intimidated and murdered on the orders of the tycoon.[3] Rizwanur case: SC sets aside HC order for fresh probe (West Bengal).

He is the son of industrialist the late Shri. Giridhari Lal Todi. He took over as the chairman of the company on 1 October 2007.[4] Ashok Todi attended Bhawanipore College in Kolkata (West Bengal).

Lux Industries Limited

Lux Industries Limited is an innerwear company of India with three brands in its portfolio - Lux Innerwear, GenX Style Inners, and ONN Premium Inners.[5][failed verification] Lux Cozi is the main brand of Lux Industries Limited. The company launched a consumer coupon scheme in 1992 called "Mazedar Mauka". From 1 product, the company’s product range has expanded to more than 150 products today.[citation needed] Lux Cozy was a sponsor of Shahrukh Khan's Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders. but was expelled as a sponsor because of the company's involvement in the Rizwanur Rahman murder case.[6]

Under Todi's leadership Lux Industries Limited received the star export house award.[citation needed] Also in 2013, Lux was awarded Asia's Most Promising Brand[7] and Master Brand 2013.[8][failed verification]
