Michael Ashwin Satyandre Adhin (born 10 June 1980)[1] is a Surinamese politician who has been Vice President of Suriname since 2015. He is a member of the National Democratic Party.[2]

In July 2013 he became Minister of Education in the cabinet of President Dési Bouterse, replacing Shirley Sitaldin.[3] After the 2015 Surinamese general election, in which Adhin was elected to the National Assembly for the electoral district of Paramaribo, he was inaugurated as Vice President on 12 August 2015.[2][4][5]
