The Asuogyaman District is one of the twenty-one (21) districts of the Eastern Region of south Ghana. The capital is Atimpoku.

Akosombo Dam

The Asuogyaman district is the location of a hydroelectric dam in South Ghana, the Akosombo Dam, in the town of Akosombo.
