Controversy

Athletics Federation of India lodged protest against Bahrain for causing obstruction to Hima Das during the Mixed 4x400 relay final.[5] After passing on the baton to Salwa Naser, Bahrain's Oluwakemi Adekoya fell before Hima Das obstructing her way.[6] However, the protest was rejected by the Asian Games' Jury of Appeals and India's silver medal was not upgraded to gold.[7][8]
