Aurélie Dupont (born 15 January 1973 in Paris) is a French ballet dancer who performs with the Paris Opera Ballet as an Etoile. She began her career in dance at the age of ten when she entered the Paris Opera Ballet School (L’Ecole de Danse de l’Opéra de Paris) after giving up her hopes of being a pianist. She joined the company in 1989, and became a premiere danseuse in December 1996. Dupont was promoted to star dancer in 1998 after her performance as Kitri in Paris Opera Ballet's revival of Nureyev's production of Don Quixote.

The darling and undisputed grand dame of the French ballet stage, [neutrality is disputed] Dupont is nonetheless outspoken about the deficiencies of the Paris Opera Ballet school system. She is one of the finest actresses currently working in ballet, inhabiting her roles with delicately nuanced and heartfelt expression in her eyes, mouth and face.[neutrality is disputed] Her port-de-bras is extremely natural, soft and light, while her highly refined technique is in complete service to her artistry. She is a natural ballet and also strives to excel at modern and contemporary ballet.[neutrality is disputed]

In March 2002 she danced with Andrian Fadeyev in the Kirov Ballet's production of Romeo and Juliet.
