Aylesbury is a settlement in the Canterbury region of New Zealand.

Aylesbury is notable for the railway station which blew away in the storms of 1976.

The epicentre of the 7.1 magnitude earthquake on Sept 4, 2010 was very close to Aylesbury and the largest land surface fractures were in this locality.
