Azat Turlybekuly Peruashev (Kazakh: Азат Тұрлыбекұлы Перуашев, born 8 September 1967) is a Kazakh politician. He is the chairman of the Democratic Party of Kazakhstan Ak Zhol and a parliamentary deputy.[1]

Biography

From 1999 to 2006, Peruashev served as the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Civic Party of Kazakhstan.[citation needed] Between 2006 and 2011, he served as the chairman of the National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan (The Atameken Union). Since 2011, Peruashev has been the chairman of the Democratic Party of Kazakhstan Ak Zhol, a position that lead to his status as a Kazakh parliamentary deputy.
