Bakshi is caste, surname and an honorific given name or title. This is another variant spelling of Bakhshi, Bekhechi and Bekhchi (French), and Bacci (Turkish). Bakshi is Bengali, Hindi-Belt, Kashmiri and Punjabi surname in India.

Bakshi is a Bengali Brahmin surname.
