Balanagar mandal is one of the 37 mandals in Medchal district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is under the administration of Chevella revenue division with its headquarters at Balanagar.[1] The mandal is bounded by Quthbullapur, Serilingampalle mandals and Hyderabad district.[2]

Governance

Balanagar mandal is shared by two assembly constituencies namely, Kukatpally (Assembly constituency) and Serilingampally (Assembly constituency). Kukatpally constituency is in turn is under Malkajgiri (Lok Sabha constituency), while, Serlingampally constituency is under Chevella (Lok Sabha constituency).[3]

Towns and villages

Balanagar mandal do not have any villages and the whole mandal is an urban area and a part of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.[2]
