Bambusa procera[1] is a species in the grass family that was described by Chevalier and Camus; it is a bamboo included in the genus Bambusa.[2][3]

This bamboo species is found in Vietnam where it is known locally as lồ ô; no subspecies are listed in the Catalogue of Life.[2]
