Baneswara Temple is a very famous temple in Balasore. The temple can be reached by auto, car or by Rickshaw from Balsore Railway station or Bus Stand.This is one of the oldest temple of Balasore. People visit this temple during Monday and on special occasion like Shivaratri and Sankranti. This temple is maintained by group of people who worship people called as Panda or Pujaka. There is no trust, who manages this temple. People can do peaceful puja for a nominal cost.The Pandas are very friendly and approachable.
