Barnali is a Village and Union Council (UC) of Gujrat District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan.[1] It is part of Kharian Tehsil and is located at 32°43'0N 73°50'0E with an altitude of 239 metres (787 feet).[2] Master Allah Ditta (late; 1930 to 2016) was the famous personality and most respected/ loved teacher of the region. He belonged to village Barnali. Before partition a sizeable number of Sikhs of Bhalla family also lived there
