Baruq District (Persian: بخش باروق) is a district (bakhsh) in Miandoab County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 23,662, in 5,234 families.[1] The District has one city: Baruq. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Ajorluy-ye Gharbi Rural District, Ajorluy-ye Sharqi Rural District, and Baruq Rural District.
