Bashir Abdi at the 2012 European Championships

Bashir Abdi (born 10 February 1989 in Mogadishu) is a Somalian-Belgian athlete who specialises in cross-country and middle and long-distance track running. He entered the 10,000m 2014 European athletics championships with the European leading time set on the 4th of May.[1][2][3] In May 2015 Abdi qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics.[4]
