The Battle of Anjar took place on 31 October 1622 near Majdal Anjar in the modern day Lebanon between the army of Fakhr ad-Din II al-Ma'ni and an Ottoman army led by the governor of Damascus Mustafa Pasha.

The Ottoman army was defeated, and Mustafa Pasha was taken captive. Fakhr ad-Din's victory allowed him to reign over a large Emirate in Ottoman Syria extending from Aleppo in the north to Arish in northern Sinai. His Emirate lasted for 10 years until he was defeated, and executed by the Ottomans.
