Bera Ivanishvili (Georgian: ბერა ივანიშვილი; born in 23 December 1994), known with his stage name as Bera (Georgian: ბერა), is a Georgian singer, songwriter, international pop star, hip hop and R&B artist.[1][2] He is signed to Georgian Dream Music Group.

Personal life

Bera, who has albinism just like one of his three other siblings, is the son of the Georgian billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili, the country's richest man according to Forbes magazine, with an estimated worth of $6.4 billion. Bidzina Ivanishvili is the founder of the Georgian Dream party, that won the elections against then-ruling United National Movement led by Mikheil Saakashvili.[3] and ruled as Prime Minister of Georgia from October 2012 to November 2013. Bera released "Georgian Dream" (in Georgian ქართული ოცნება transliterated Qartuli ocneba) in support of his father's election campaign with the party named after his song.

Bera's is a permanent partner of “GDS TV” broadcasting company, and has a personal wealth in the millions.[4]

Bera hosted a 2014 VMA Pre-Party with Chris Brown and Pia Mia. Lil' Twist, The Game, Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner.[5][6][7]

Music career

Bera is classically trained: at the age of 4, he could play the piano, drums, and the violin.[8] Life, love, friends, family, and his experiences inspire Bera's music. His music is heavily influenced by classical music, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, Tupac, and Biggie. He wrote his first song in a dream and recorded it when he was 11 years old. Bera has worked with some of the industry's biggest producers, including Rodney Jerkins and Rob Fusari. "The working process is very unique with Rodney. Also, he’s a great personality; he’s very humble and down to earth even though he’s a legend. He’s a great person also. I just learned a lot with him. When you’re with a genius like Rodney, you try to remember every second and every single note from the song and everything," said Bera in an interview with Global Grind. He had also featured in a song "I Look Good On You" which was directed by Internet vine star Nash Grier[9]
