Berend-Jan van Voorst tot Voorst
Berend Jan Marie "Berend-Jan", Baron van Voorst tot Voorst (born Beek, 7 February 1944) is a Dutch, Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) politician. He was vice minister of Foreign Affairs (area: European Cooperation) from 27 September 1988 until 7 November 1989 in the Second cabinet of Lubbers and vice minister of Defence from 7 November 1989 until 1 June 1993 in Lubbers' third cabinet. From 1 July 1993 until 1 July 2005 he was the Queen's Commissioner of the Dutch province of Limburg.[1]
Education
Berend-Jan van Voorst tot Voorst had his secondary education in Tilburg and studied law at the Catholic University of Nijmegen and politics as well as science at the University of Fribourg Switzerland).[1]
Van Voorst tot Voorst is married and has 3 daughters.
