Beydili is at 37°21′5″N 33°19′1″E / 37.35139°N 33.31694°E Its distance Karaman is 21 kilometres (13 mi).[1] The population of the village was 227 as of 2014. [2] The name Beydili refers to a Turkmen tribe with the same name. [3] Although initially they were nomadic, they were settled by the Ottoman government. The first written document about the Beydili village was dated 1845.[2]
