Big Valley is a small unincorporated community in Lassen County, California. As of July, 2007, its population is 1600. It is located 3 miles (4.8 km) northeast of Bieber,[1] at an elevation of 2160 feet above sea level.

History

A post office operated at Big Valley from 1873 to 1875 and from 1876 to 1877.[1]

Demographics

There were 859 males and 741 females in the 2007 census. The median resident age was 39.4 years old.[2]
