Bisankhunarayan is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Godawari Municipality in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3867 in 707 individual households.[2] Bishankhunarayan is historic place because of popular Hindu god Vishnu temple called Bishankhu narayan. Narayan is another name for Lord Vishnu. In the temple there's a small cave too.[citation needed]
Every year tens of thousand pilgrims visit these four temple.
Villages near Bishnankhunarayan include Godawari, Lamatar, Godamchour. Bishankhunarayn vdc has rich water resources as well as big and thick forest.[3]
