Blue Ruin is a Australian Blues rock band.[1] Their album I'm Gonna Smile was nominated for a 1991 ARIA Award for Best Independent Release.

Previously called Scrap Museum the band was formed by singer Ian "Quincy" McLean and guitarist Mulaim Vela, bassist Adam Learner and drummer Frank Borg. Ex Birthday Party drummer Phill Calvert replaced Borg and the band changed its name to Blue Ruin.[2]
