Bni Makada is one of four districts of the city of Tangier, itself located in the Prefecture of Tangier-Assilah, in the Tangier-Tetouan region. Includes the county 386,191 people, according to census 2014.

Naming of Beni Makada to the tribe of Bani Coded, one of the tribes back Hawara who settled in the cities of Fez and Taza. The tribe has settled in Beni Makada area in the late 17th century during the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismail bin Ali Al - Sharif .
