Boomerang is an upcoming 2018 Indian Tamil comedy-thriller film written and directed by R. Kannan. The film features Atharvaa, Megha Akash and Indhuja Ravichandran in the lead roles, while Bollywood actor Upen Patel plays an antagonistic role.[2]

Production

Director R. Kannan announced that his next film would star Atharvaa in the lead role. Bollywood actor Upen Patel was cast to play the film's comedian and lost 10 kilograms for his role.[3] Atharvaa underwent extensive makeup for the film which required 3 different looks, including a tonsured look.[4] The music was composed by Radhan of Arjun Reddy fame. On August 3, Mani Ratnam released the film's trailer, which casts his wife Suhasini Maniratnam will be seen as a small special in a supporting roles.[5]

The film is expected to release in December 15 2018.[1]
