Being Born again (without dying, as an epiphany) is a metaphor used in a number of religions

  • Arhat or 'arhant', the Buddist conception which succeeds the earlier Dvija concept in the Dharmic tradition.
  • Born again is a Christian term for spiritual rebirth and salvation.
  • Dvija the concept of being "twice-born" prominent in Hinduism since classical times.
