The Botanical Society of the British Isles (BSBI) is for people interested in the flora of Britain, Ireland and the Isle of Man. The society was founded as the Botanical Society of London in 1836. It includes both professional and amateur members and is the largest organization devoted to botany in the British Isles.

The BSBI produces national atlases and county floras covering the distribution of plants. It publishes a scientific journal, Watsonia, and organizes conferences. There is a newsletter that is distributed to members three times a year. The society also has an education programme.

The society is managed by a council of elected members. It is also a British charity (no. 212560).
