"Break My Heart" is a song by Canadian artist Victoria Duffield. It was released in June 2012 as the third single from her debut studio album Shut Up and Dance.[1][2] It entered the chart on position 87 and peaked on number 35, where it stayed for 2 weeks.

Music video[edit]

A music video for the song premiered on CMT, MTV, TeenNick, MuchMusic and Cartoon Network on June 21, 2012 at 6:57 pm Eastern time, and later on MTV.com, CMT.com, and VH1.com the same day at 8:00 pm Eastern time. The video is directed by Alon Isocianu, with whom Duffield has worked on the music videos for both "Shut Up and Dance" and "Feel". The music video begins with Duffield walking on the night street and taking her jacket off and throwing it in the garbage. She then dances. A girl knocks the garbage down and Duffield then notices, and then it was revealed it was just a dream that Duffield was having. She then sings as she plays on her iPhone looking at her relationship pictures and checking on soundtracks and messages. 2 of her friends come beg her if she can dance with her. She then agrees and stands up. Her friends do some incredible moves. After a while, a man sees the impressive dance. The girls dance some more and then a couple sees the dance. The man tries to come closer to them, but the woman didn't want him to. The girls finish dancing after a while, then the girls look at each other. The girls then go see a handsome man. They stand there while the man walks around. The man and Duffield look at each other, then Duffield dances with the entire crowd, then the crowd freezes and Duffield walks around making sure that everyone is ready, then everyone dances until the video is over.
