Breon Thomas Corcoran (born July 1971) is an Irish businessman, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Paddy Power Betfair.
Early life
Breon Thomas Corcoran was born in July 1971,[2] in Mullingar, Ireland in 1971.[3] He has a degree in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from INSEAD.[1]
Career
He worked for JP Morgan and Bankers Trust, before joining bookmakers Paddy Power in April 2001 with responsibility for developing the non-retail business, becoming a board director in 2004, and rising to COO in August 2010.[1] He joined Betfair as CEO in August 2012.[1] His total compensation is £11,627,000 a year.[1]
In 2016, he sold part of his share package in Betfair for an estimated £4.1 million.[4]
Personal life
Corcoran is married with three children and lives in Barnes, London.[3]
