Brilliant High School[1] in Brilliant, Ohio was a public school in southern Jefferson County, Ohio in the town of which merged in its last year, 1972, with Smithfield High School, Ohio to create Buckeye North High School. Other local schools formed Buckeye South and Buckeye West High School. In the fall of 1990, these three merged to create the current Buckeye Local High School.
