Bruno Fitipaldo (born August 2, 1991) is an Uruguayan-born naturalized Italian professional basketball player who plays for Betaland Capo d'Orlando of the Italian LBA. Standing at 1.84 m (6 ft 12 in), he plays at the Point Guard positions.

Professional career

Bruno Fitipaldo began his professional career in 2006 with the Uruguayan club Club Malvín, in the city of Montevideo. During his time in the Uruguayan League of basketball, he became the local idol due to his great performances. In 2011 Bruno with his team won the national title, where he got 8 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.3 steals, in 41 matches. At only 20, he was in the "starting five" of the Uruguayan team, and at the end of the 2011-12 season he got 10.4 points, 3.5 rebonds, 5.6 assists e 1.3 steals per game. In 2014 Fitipaldo was named MVP of the tournament. He later moved to the Argentine club Obras Sanitarias from the 2014-15 season to the 2015-16 season.

Bruno Fitipaldo is a player of the Uruguay national basketball team since he was 15. He finished the 2016 South American Basketball Championship placing third.

On July 2016, the Italian basketball club Orlandina Basket made official the signing of Bruno Fitipaldo.[1]

On November 5 2016, Bruno Fitipaldo was the Serie A MVP for Round 6. The Uruguayan-Italian point guard finished with 33 points in Orlandina overtime win to Brescia. Fitipaldo has played 45 minutes and added also 3 rebounds, 10 assists, 9 fouls drawn and 44 of evaluation.[2]
