Buggerru is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Carbonia-Iglesias in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northwest of Carbonia.

Derek Jarman's 1976 film Sebastiane was shot near the comune.

Buggerru borders the following municipalities: Fluminimaggiore, Iglesias.
